Wochenend-Katastrophen und der Lenka-Vortex
1. Ein Schwan ist in Lenkas Touri-Bus gekracht. A swan crashed into Lenka’s tourist bus.
2. Eine alte Frau wurde in der Straßenbahntür eingeklemmt, nachdem Lenka eingestiegen war, und überall war tonnenweise Blut. An old woman got caught in the tram door after Lenka got onto the tram, and there was blood everywhere.
3. Am Freitag ist der Strom für zwei Stunden ausgefallen. On Friday, electricity was out for two hours.
4. Am Sonnabend und Sonntag ging das Internet nicht, heute Morgen dann – als Lenka das Haus verlassen hatte – ging es plötzlich wieder. On Saturday and Sunday, the Internet stopped working, today in the morning – after Lenka had left the house – it started working again.
5. Seit gestern haben wir kein heißes Wasser mehr. Yesterday, the hot water stopped working.
6. Ich hab mir in die Hand geschnitten. I cut my hand.
Und an allem ist Lenka schuld! And it’s all Lenka’s fault! :-)

Die Fußgängerbrücke in Praha-Radotín. Hier wurde mir klar, dass ich noch 30 Kilometer fahren muss, wenn ich nach Hause will. The pedestrian bridge in Prague-Radotín. This was the moment when I realized I had 30 more kilometers to go.

Das E-Werk auf der Štvanice-Insel. Hier zieh ich ein, wenn es mir in meinem kleinen kubistischen Häuschen (siehe oben) zu langweilig wird. The power plant on Štvanice island. I’ll move here when I get bored in my little cubist house (see above).
Sv. Valentýn na Štrossmayeráku. I’ve never been inside, but I like it anyway (because it means it is only five more minutes home)…
Wenn ihr euch langweilt, könnt ihr ja versuchen rauszufinden, wo ich gestern langgefahren bin…. If you are bored, you can try to figure out the route I took yesterday on my bike…
Well, kind of strange mix, isn’t it? A series of unfortunate events followed by such nice places -and nice pictures also. Guess Lenka wasn’t there while you took those pictures, was she?
